Your Role as a Business Expert

Business Meetings
You will meet with each team for a business meeting which will be about 10-15 min long. In the meetings you are acting as an advisor and provide the chance for each team to gain advice from you on their strategy. Each team will have one meeting in each specialist area - Money, Customer, People, and Actions (Strategy and Ethics are sometimes added as extra categories).

You will be allocated a specialist area and will be paired up with another expert prior to the meetings.

The ability to communicate and collaborate is an essential tool for building a successful business and so we need you to provide feedback on each of the teams that you see. After each meeting we'd like you to fill in an assessment form where you can record how well you think the team performed.

Presentations
The presentations are 5 minute pitches where each team presents its business and business strategy to you. You will be part of a panel of four or more experts and you will be acting more like a 'Dragon', asking the team all the difficult questions, to see how they react and how well they can manage criticism.

After each pitch we need you to fill in a second assessment form and award the team the points you think they deserve. All assessment forms will be explained and provided to you on the day.
